Metric Pattern Cutting by Winifred Aldrich
This is an incredibly straight-forward, easy to understand patternmaking book! I highly suggest it for patternmaking beginners or for people who want to hone their skills and start from scratch again. You can also follow the steps in this book and start drafting using Adobe Illustrator, then print out your patterns. Many Japanese companies do this, as multiple licenses for CAD software can cost a crazy amount. All you need to do is figure out how to start drafting using squares and curves, and then you can download/purchase an add-on for Illustrator that has some pattermaking tools.

The book is in the library, but you can buy the book here: It’s quite expensive. Do a quick search and you may find a copy online for…cheaper ;)
