We would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday, November 27th, 2013, to attend a tour of the current exhibition at Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum, and attend a special lecture from our President, Sunao Onuma.

Please see below for the schedule of events:

1)      12:00 ~ 13:30 (Please sign in at the counter at the museum at 11:30)

A guided tour of the current exhibition in the Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum: “Meiji, Taisho, Showa – Pre-war Imperial Court Dress from East and West” *Please note that tours will be held in groups of 20 people.

2)      13:40 ~ 14:30 (In the Quint Salon)

A special lecture from Bunka Gakuen Educational Foundation President Sunao Onuma. The President will be speaking on the topic of Westernization of Japanese fashion in a lecture entitled “The Westernization of Imperial Court Dress – lifting the veil on the hidden changes in modern Japan”. *Please note that there will be simultaneous interpretation from Japanese to English available for foreign guests

3)      15:00 ~ 16:30 (Endo Memorial Hall Auditorium)

The 2013 Tokyo New Designers Grand Prix Show and Judging Session. This requires you to have a ticket to enter, but for guests who attend President Onuma’s talk, we will allow you to enter as part of a VIP audience.
