Ko-Sen Graduation Exhibition
Check check it out. Bunka Fashion College’s “Ko-Sen” class (or Advanced Techniques class) is having their graduation exhibition in the basement of the resource center. It is pretty epic in terms of technique and skill. This is one of those student work exhibitions that make you squint, double -take and examine the textiles and cuts asking yourself “…how did they??”.
Sorry my photos are all such low quality… But here are some photos taken by Kjeld Duits, a famous man-about-town here in Tokyo, and the dude who runs Japanesestreets! These photos are from the final exhibition in the resource center, and also some are shot at one of the many final fashion shows. Every year, from Jan-March Bunka holds many, many exhibitions of their students final gradation works! There are so many different courses, and so many very talented young people that keeps the number of shows high and the spectators coming back every week.
